May at the Jeremiah Mason House: Spring in the Foothills of Maine
May has a way of making everything feel new again.
Here at the Jeremiah Mason House Bed and Breakfast in Limerick, Maine, the grounds are finally waking up after a long New England winter. The grass is turning green, the trees are filling in, the flowers are beginning to bloom, and the whole property has that fresh spring feeling that makes you want to slow down and take a deep breath.
This is one of my favorite times of year here.
There is something so peaceful about watching spring arrive around this old historic home. The brick exterior, the red barn, the backyard, the gardens, and the quiet sitting areas all begin to come back to life little by little. It is the kind of place where you can enjoy your morning coffee outside, listen to the birds, watch the clouds drift by, and simply enjoy a slower pace for a while.

One of the things I love most about owning a Bed and Breakfast is being able to share the simple beauty of the property with my guests. A stay here is not just about having a room for the night. It is about being welcomed into a home with history, character, and a little extra care.
May is a wonderful time to visit if you are looking for a peaceful getaway before the busier summer months begin. The days are getting warmer, the trees are full of color, and the foothills of Maine are beautiful this time of year. Whether you are visiting family, exploring the area, taking a quiet weekend away, or just looking for a change of scenery, this is a lovely season to come stay with us.
The backyard and grounds offer space to sit, breathe, and enjoy the quiet. It is not rushed. It is not crowded. It is simply a peaceful little corner of Maine, tucked around a historic Bed and Breakfast that has welcomed many seasons before this one.
So, as spring continues to unfold here at the Jeremiah Mason House, I wanted to share a few photos from around the property. May may arrive gently in Maine, but once it does, it brings such a beautiful sense of renewal.
We would love to welcome you for a spring stay.
